  1. the main image are the two main actors Ellen Page (now Elliot Page) and Micheal Cera. they are presented in a full body shot, Ellen on the side and looking at the viewer and Micheal facing the viewer. 
  2. the title is put near the lower middle of the cover and is in a sans serif font, more of a cartoon art-style. 
  3. There isn't a tagline on the front just a review of "best picture of the year"
  4. its a bright orange, more of a water colour green and white. Its the colours that the main character Juno are wearing, connoting that this story revolves mainly around her.
  5. there are the main actors names at the top.
  6. sans serif is used throughout, the title is the biggest and the most cartoony but the other sans serif text is more professional.
  7. the Genre is shown through the title and the tagline about growing up. the title is cartoony which also connotes childish and younger vibes.

  3. that there is something going on with the main character. possibly a teenage pregnancy. 
  4. theres the enigma of the couple on the back and wondering where they come into all this and what happens to the baby.
  5. the blurb states that "juno is a cool, confidant teenager that takes a nine month detour into adulthood trying to find the perfect parents for her baby" this shows its a film meant for teenagers who are interested in the drama of teen pregnancy, it also brings awareness to the subject.

  8. the stereotype of teen parents being horrible and dumb is challenged, they make Juno and Paul actually care about their baby, they make sure the baby has good adoptive parents and Juno actually seeks out help when she needs it.








































  1. Paul and Juno are on the poster, its a full body shot, letting the audience see their cloths and see the fact that juno is pregnant. 
  2. the two characters are stood on the left of the poster with the actor names across the top of the page, underneath that is a review of the movie, then the title of the movie. at the bottom of the page there is the release date. 
  3. the title is in the middle right of the page in a sans serif font, however it looks more cartoony and more like bubble text.
  4. there is a tagline under the title and the director of the film above the title.
  5. the colour palette is bright orange and white striped in the background and a light water colour green for the title, this connotes the outfit Juno is wearing meaning the movie is following her.
  6. there's only sans serif font however for the title its more bubbled and cartoony

  2. the title is near the bottom of the cover  in a red, white and black colour pallet, it is in a sans serif font,
  3. there is a tagline just above the title stating "how do i loathe thee? let me count the ways" communicates there is some kind of disagreement between some characters possibly the two on the cover.
  4. the colour pallet are red- connotations of love, hate, anger, lust. black- darkness, depression, sadness, evil. white- hope, light, happiness, calm. 
  5. at the bottom is the age rating, trigger warnings and the DVD label, at the top is the actors name
  6. sans serif font is the only font used in varying sizes and colours. 
  7. genre is shown through the cover image, the two are teens displayed by body language, the tagline is a play on words from the original text of "how do i love thee? let me count the ways" shows this movie is a secret romantic movie.

  3. the images could suggest they're in highschool possibly, since the photos look like yearbook ones
  4. there are a lack of actual images creating the enigma of not actually knowing whats going to happen in the film.
  5. the blurb talks about this new boy finding the girl of his dreams but she is unable to date until her older sister Kat who is 'undateable' gets into a relationship. this raises question whether the story would follow Kat or the new boy, but either way its about dating which expresses the genre.
  6. the colour pallet is the same as the front cover.
  7. theres a mix of sans serif and serif. the blurb is in serif and the title is in sans serif.
  8. they play on the stereotype of "grumpy teen" and "boy obsessed younger sister" as well as "mysterious boy is a genius" they follow the stereotypes. 










































  1. the main image is a medium long shot of both main characters, the girl is sat on an old looking brown chair whereas the boy is stood behind the chair. they are represented as "typical teen".
